Autel Mercedes-Benz Security Gateway tokens

The Autel Mercedes-Benz Security Gateway (SGW) tokens unlock the secured systems of Mercedes-Benz vehicles equipped with an enhanced security gateway module from 2021 onwards. Mercedes-Benz introduced this module to protect critical vehicle systems from unauthorized access and cyberattacks. Without unlocking, functions such as clearing fault codes, active tests, adaptations, and ADAS calibrations remain blocked.

Supported Models
The secured gateway is present on Mercedes-Benz models from model year 2021 onwards, including the CLA (174/178), AMG GT (192), C-Class (206), E-Class (214), S-Class (223), SL (232), CLE (236), GLC (254), and the electric EQE (294/295) and EQS (296/297).

What gets unlocked
After activation, the technician gains access to clearing fault codes, active tests, adaptations, and ADAS calibrations on the body control module and other secured control units.

Activation
Access is provided via AutoAuth, an independent certification service that collaborates with car brands and tool manufacturers like Autel. The user registers their workshop and Autel device with AutoAuth and selects Mercedes-Benz as the brand. AutoAuth charges a small annual fee per brand for this. After purchase and registration, activation typically takes 2 to 4 business days; the device must be connected to Wi-Fi to receive and synchronize the license.

Compatibility
Fully compatible with the Ultra series (Ultra, MS919, MS909, Ultra EV), the MS906Pro series (MS906Pro, Pro-TS, MAX), the 900 series (MX900, DS900, TS900), MS908S II/SP II/S3, ITS600/ITS600Pro, BT609, and MS908S/MS908S Pro. The IM608II and IM608II Pro lack support for certain SGW functions; please check compatibility for these models in advance.
