Autel Dacia/Renault Security Gateway tokens

The Autel Dacia/Renault Security Gateway (SGW) tokens provide access to secured Renault and Dacia vehicles from model year 2019, for models equipped with this security (not all vehicles have an SGW). The SGW prevents unauthorized access to and manipulation of vital vehicle systems; without a token, an unrecognized diagnostic device only gets read or observation access, without being able to perform active functions. Access is exclusively granted via tokens issued by Renault.

Token Functionality
Each token provides access to the SGW of one vehicle. After request, it takes approximately 1 business day for the tokens to be added to the digital wallet of the Autel diagnostic device.

Supported Models
Applicable to Renault and Dacia models from model year 2019; newer generations of models (from 2022) fall under a more extensive version of the SGW security.

What is unlocked
After using a token, the technician gains full diagnostic access to the vehicle, as opposed to the limited read/observation mode without unlocking.

Validity
A token remains valid as long as the diagnostic device's software subscription is active; there is no separate expiration date on the token itself, but it cannot be used without an active subscription.

Compatibility
Available for Autel devices from the MaxiCheck, MaxiDAS, MaxiSys, and MaxiIM series. Please note: the Renault SGW function is not supported on the IM508(S) and IM608(II)(Pro) for key/IMMO functions; these devices can only be used for regular diagnostics, not for unlocking via SGW tokens for key work. For full IMMO access, a separate gateway connector is required.

This license is only valid for European (EU) versions of Autel tools. Non-European (including North American) devices use a different activation path and cannot activate these specific tokens.
