A complete solution to keep vehicle batteries automatically charged, protected, and optionally remotely monitored. With flexible or foldable 100W solar panels, intelligent MPPT charge control, and optional BMS monitoring, the system prevents dead batteries, failures, and unnecessary interventions.
Our solution is designed to structurally address one of the most common problems with vehicles that are regularly stationary or inactive for extended periods: an undercharged or damaged battery.
A dead or poorly maintained battery not only causes problems when starting a vehicle. In modern vehicles, low battery voltages can also lead to error messages and malfunctions in electronic systems. This means vehicles need to be jump-started, technically inspected, or parts may be unnecessarily replaced, while the underlying cause is simply a poor battery condition.
That's why we combine three technologies into one integrated solution: solar energy, intelligent battery management, and optional remote monitoring.
Flexible and Foldable Solar Panels
The system can be equipped with flexible or foldable solar panels in various wattages, including a 100W version, depending on the vehicle, application, and energy consumption.
A 100W solar panel provides sufficient capacity to continuously support the battery during extended periods of inactivity and compensate for energy loss due to quiescent power consumption and electronic systems. This keeps the battery at a healthy charge level without the vehicle relying on a fixed grid connection.
The solar panels are suitable for mobile and demanding applications and can be easily integrated onto various types of vehicles and installations. Thanks to their flexible or foldable design, they can also be used in locations where traditional fixed solar panels are difficult to mount.
Intelligent MPPT Charge Controller
An intelligent MPPT charge controller is located between the solar panel and the battery. This optimizes the energy harvested from the solar panel and ensures that the battery is charged in a controlled and safe manner.
MPPT technology ensures that the available power from the solar panel is utilized as efficiently as possible, even when weather conditions or light intensity change. This maximizes the efficiency of the 100W solar panel, and available solar energy is sent to the battery as efficiently as possible.
The charge control is tailored to the battery type used and supports various battery technologies. This ensures every battery receives the correct charging profile.
Additionally, the system protects the battery from overcharging. As soon as the battery is sufficiently charged, the charging process is automatically adjusted. This protects the battery's lifespan and keeps it in optimal condition as much as possible.
All important components are designed for use in demanding environments and are water and dust resistant.
Optional BMS Monitoring
For applications where not only charging, but also active monitoring is desired, the system can be expanded with our BMS functionality.
This function acts as an intelligent battery monitor and periodically measures important battery parameters, including:
State of Charge (SoC): the current charge status of the battery;
State of Health (SoH): the general condition and remaining health of the battery;
battery voltage;
evolution of these values over time.
The measurement data is automatically transmitted to a digital monitoring platform via an integrated 4G SIM card. This means no local network connection is needed, and the status of batteries can be monitored remotely.
This makes it possible not only to see if a battery is sufficiently charged but also to detect changes in battery condition in a timely manner. For example, it can be determined when a battery loses voltage increasingly quickly, is insufficiently charged, or starts showing signs of wear.
From a Single Vehicle to an Entire Fleet
The platform is scalable from one BMS module to a virtually unlimited number of connected vehicles. This means the same solution can be used for a single vehicle, but also for organizations that want to centrally manage dozens, hundreds, or even entire fleets.
Through one digital platform, the user gains insight into the condition and charge status of all connected batteries.
This eliminates the need for vehicles to be physically checked individually to determine if the battery is still in good condition. Key battery data can be monitored centrally and remotely.
If the system detects that a battery, for example, is insufficiently charged, shows an abnormal voltage, or exhibits signs of wear or defects, the platform can automatically generate an alert. This allows for preventive action to be taken before the vehicle actually breaks down.
From Reactive Maintenance to Proactive Battery Management
The biggest advantage of the solution is that battery problems are no longer only discovered when a vehicle fails to start.
By automatically keeping the battery at the optimal charge level during inactivity with the help of the solar panel and the intelligent MPPT charge controller, and, if the BMS option is used, continuously monitoring the battery condition remotely, many problems can be prevented.
