Thinkcar Security Gateway (SGW) Access - VAG Group
Full Access to VAG Vehicles
As of certain model years, Audi, Volkswagen, Škoda, SEAT, Bentley, and Lamborghini vehicles are equipped with a Secure Gateway (SGW).
This security layer prevents unauthorized access, blocking key diagnostic functions such as clearing fault codes, performing actuator tests, and running calibrations.
With official Thinkcar VAG SGW tokens, you regain full, authorized access to these systems.
24 Hours per VIN
Each token grants 24 hours of access per vehicle (VIN).
Tokens are automatically stored in your Thinkcar system's digital wallet and are securely linked to the serial number of your diagnostic device - making them non-transferable.
Official Approval & Security
The tokens are developed in collaboration with VAG and require official approval, with an average processing time of approximately two weeks.
This ensures safe, verified access while maintaining full compliance with VAG's data protection and cybersecurity standards.
Please note:
An active Thinkcar software or update subscription is required to use SGW tokens.
