The Battery Cell Balancer is an essential component for lithium, LFP, or other multi-cell battery applications. In every battery pack, small differences in voltage develop between the individual cells over time. These differences can lead to overcharging of certain cells, faster wear, or reduced battery performance.
The balancer continuously measures the voltage of each cell and evenly distributes the charge. With passive balancers, excess energy is dissipated as heat; with active balancers, charge is redistributed between the cells. This process ensures that all cells remain within safe limits and work together optimally.
