Autel FCA Security Gateway License (1 Year)

The Autel FCA Security Gateway (SGW) license provides 1 year of unlimited access to the secure systems of FCA vehicles. The FCA group began equipping new vehicles with a Security Gateway in 2017, a trend that has increased annually to nearly 100% of 2020 FCA models. The SGW functions as a firewall that doesn't so much restrict diagnostic data itself, but primarily blocks bidirectional functions such as calibrations, relearns, and actuator controls for unregistered and unauthenticated devices; even simply clearing a fault code is denied without a license.

Supported Brands
Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Maserati. An expansion to the full Stellantis group (including Citroën, DS, Opel, Peugeot, RAM) is mentioned by some suppliers as a future development but is not yet standardly included everywhere.

What is Unlocked
After activation, the technician gains access to reading and clearing fault codes, displaying live data, performing actuator tests, service operations, and module initialization, without restrictions.

Activation
Activation occurs online using the Autel device's serial number. For the application, an approval must be submitted to the FCA group, with an average processing time of approximately 2 weeks (up to a maximum of 14 days). After approval, you will gain access to all secure FCA vehicle systems within a few days. An active software or update subscription for the device is required to use the license.

Validity
The license is tied to the diagnostic system's serial number, is non-transferable, and provides 1 year of unlimited access under reasonable use.

Compatibility
Available for Autel devices from the MaxiCheck, MaxiDAS, MaxiSys, and MaxiIM series (including MX900(TS), DS900BT/TS, MS908S(PRO), MS906PRO(-TS)/MAX, MS909(EV), MS919, ULTRA(-EV), IM608 PRO(II)).
